Leonard Burn; U.S. Navy

Veteran Burn is a World War II veteran. Basic training in Samson.New York where he didn't learn to swim and his job was a fireman onboard ship. On the troop ship to the South Pacific he wore his life jacket. While serving on the Fire Dept in Guadalacanal they ran a trading racket for use of their shower traded for special foods and drinks!! Leonard stills serves today as rifleman for military funerals and he has been married to the same gal for 61 1/2 years. Thank you for your service Leonard.
