Robert Oradat US Army Air Corp

Veteran Oradat was a Corporal in the Army Air Corp. Attending Basic Training by Salt Lake City ,Utah. Robert wanted to go overseas but they needed a draftsman at Wright Field, Dayton Ohio so that is where he was ordered to go. He worked as a draftsman in a research lab designing oxygen equipment for high flying aircraft. His job was to lay out fuselage O2 equipment and he worked mainly with civilian draftsmen.After two years he was to deploy overseas but the war ended, then he had to retake Basic Training agian!! then the war with Japan ended...so he went to California to process Officer Separations and ended up filing his own separation/discharge paperwork. He concludes he had a very good tour of duty. Thank you for your service Robert.
